CounterMarch Systems was founded in 2004 as an alumni relations technology consulting firm. We knew we could effectively transform the business of alumni relations through the application of modern-day CRM techniques and in every engagement we have been very successful.
Before long we found ourselves full of ideas for improving operations throughout the higher education environment. We took on engagements in related areas (Development/Advancement and Athletics) where there was substantial contact with alumni, yet no serious thought being given to the use of technology to improve the quality of that contact. Our online fundraising platform eliminated every technical barrier to online donations for one client and was so successful that it has completely replaced the system it was meant to parallel.
Naturally, we have continued to evolve our technical expertise in order to best serve our clients. Ajax, Flex and frameworks for ColdFusion development have all been added to our toolkit because we see a compelling need for each of these capabilities in the market. As part of our sponsorship of the Philadelphia ColdFusion User Group we continue to speak on these and other topics of interest to the greater community.
