Technical Specs
The PAR system is available as a hosted solution if you don't want to manage it in-house. We'll be happy to provide a secure hosted system for you.
However, if you wish to run it in-house, here are the tech specs:
- Windows or Linux server
- IIS or Apache web server
- Adobe ColdFusion 7 or 8 (Standard is sufficient, Enterprise recommended)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
The preferred configuration is for the database and application to live on separate hardware. Also include a budget of ~$150/yr. for an SSL certificate.
Clients are required to run a reasonably up-to-date web browser such as Firefox 2 (preferred), IE6, IE7 or Safari 2 on OSX, Windows 2000/XP/Vista, and many flavors of Linux.
